Our dear friend Vicky Irvine passed away in Nutley Hall on 17th September 2024.
Vicky lived at Nutley Hall since 1981. She was a woman of many talents: a weaver, a gardener, a baker – but perhaps most of all, a performer. Vicky loved playing music, singing, performing eurythmy, and participating in plays and productions. Despite her decline over the last few years, Vicky continued to enjoy playing her recorder and singing, with the main house often filled with her tunes. Vicky’s health deteriorated in recent weeks. She was accompanied throughout by her loving sister and brother-in-law, Ashdown View staff, and many of her Nutley Hall friends.
She will be missed by the very many people whose lives she touched so deeply.
