Spring is finally here. The garden is full of beautiful flowers and the gardeners work hard to contain the growth forces. On Wednesday 7th May we all all helped by spending the morning in the garden – weeding, clearing paths, sweeping and planting. On Thursday the 8th May we marked ascension day with a beautiful festival and walks in the afternoon. One group enjoyed the views from Gill’s Lap – one of the highest point in the forest. Another group ventured to Firle and climbed to Firle Beacon – with panoramic views of wealden and the coast. We all came back for delicious meringues, cream and tea!
Well done to all involved!
