Rudolf Steiner
Since the early twentieth century the concepts brought to light and expounded by Rudolf Steiner (1861 - 1925) have continued to resonate within numerous different fields of social, practical and philosophical endeavour.
His indications help to guide an understanding of the human spirit in a practical and contemporary way, and continue to give rise to important new developments today.
One such field is the now well-known work for the care and education of children and adults with learning disabilities. There are now many hundreds of Rudolf Steiner homes, schools and communities worldwide, dedicated to the support of people with learning disabilities, a support which includes the recognition of each individual’s unique path in life. As a Rudolf Steiner residential community, Nutley Hall is fortunate in being able to draw on the strengths and experience of this well established and respected movement.
